Cain & Abel: An Acceptable Sacrifice.
Series: Beginnings
In our culture everything we have has to be earned. I have to work for what we get. For many of us we believe we have to work to earn God's love and favor. We all strive to offer up acceptable gifts/sacrifices to God, but God is more concerned with the heart behind the sacrifice than He is with the sacrifice itself. Cain discovered this in Genesis 4. Daniel walks a through the first murder in human history and we see that Grace only come from perfect sacrifice, but that sacrifice is not what anyone expected.

Adam and Eve: The Image of God.
    Series: Beginnings
God created all things, but He created one thing unique above the rest of creation. While He created all things perfect He created man different and special. God created humans in His image. He created man with a soul, with the ability to choose right from wrong. Because of this all human life is special, valuable, and important. God also didn't create us to be alone but to be in community because God exists in community. Daniel kicks off our Beginnings series by looking at Genesis 1 and 2.

A topic that is often hard for us to talk about is the issue of slavery. Yet the Bible addresses it often. In this section of Eph 6 Paul directly addresses slaves and masters. Daniel walks us through verses 5-9 and shows us that Paul does not condone slavery but gives us guidelines on how to live as servants. Servants of God and the people around us.

    Series: Who Are You?
As God saves us He makes us more like Jesus. This requires change. Like changing clothes, the Holy Spirit begins to remove layers of our old self revealing a new life that looks like Jesus and reflects His nature and character. Are you living in the new life or are you still living the old life you lived before Jesus? This is the question Daniel asks as he walks us through Eph 4:17-32.

    You are for His Glory.
    Series: Who Are You?
We serve a God who's love is so vast that it is unsearchable. Yet Paul prays that we would be so grounded in Christ that we would have the strength to comprehend the Love that surpasses all understanding. We must be grounded in Christ because we are made for Him. We are fro His glory. Daniels takes us through the final 7 verses of Ephesians 3, as we continue to ask the question "Who are You?"
